About Fabiola

Unlike many other baking professionals who have gone through years of training to perfect their craft, Fabiola simply started baking as a means to cope wth the loss of her infant child, Jared Parker, in the fall of 2011.

During
this time of transition, she took up baking as a hobby.  Baking allowed her to be creative, free to express her love and passion for her son through decorating.  Although he was only with us for a short period of time, he planted a gift in her heart that she can now share with the world.

Fabiola was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and came to the United States when she was just 2years old. She is the daughter of Ernest & Yvrose Joseph, and has one sibling, Ernie Joseph. Fabiola has worked in the Finance industry for well over 10years, has chaired on the marketing board of Women in Insurance & Financial Services, and has also co-chaired with Charlie Laganga on the marketing board at the St. Roch School on Staten Island. Fabiola is married to Jamir Scarbrough, a Graphic Designer. Jamir and Fabiola are expecting their second child in the fall of 2013.

Today, with her extensive business background and passion stemming from unconditional love for her son, Fabiola has taken the dessert industry by storm. After just one year in business, Fabiola is  already teaching Fabipops decorating classes, hosting various networking events throughout NYC to showcase her creations, and is currently on target to reach 10,000 Fabipops produced by year end 2013.

We invite you to try some Fabipops today, I promise your taste buds will thank you.
